The Place
Set on the beach, Camp Makua will be a fun, stimulating, ocean-themed outdoor adventure camp. It will be designed for one reason - to give you and your children quality time together.
Events & Activities
Daytime water sports include surfing, swimming, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, and wind surfing. In the evenings we gather around a campfire and Dads can talk about fatherhood while the kids make s'mores.
Camp Makua would also include evening activities.
The Need:
To Nurther The Relationships Between Parents and Their Kids
Sadly, time goes by fast. And, without the impact a father’s presence can bring, many a youngster may turn down the wrong road in life. Possibly a child whodidn’t have a strong father, or father figure to guide them.
Did you know that American children are left fatherless every 9 minutes? Parents must act as role models, whose actions shape our young people’s futures — America’s future. Children shape the world so the time you spend with them is not only precious and fleeting, but vital.
However, with the craziness of today’s world — being a busy nation with lots of distractions — finding that time gets harder each day. Parents may have the best intentions, but financial commitments can become time consuming, stress can be taxing, and family priorities can be misplaced.
